Frederic Collignon MD, PhD is a neurosurgeon specialized in the treatment of brain tumors and degenerative spine using the latest surgical techniques including minimally invasive spine and brain surgery.
He was educated in Belgium and completed his neurosurgical training by a two year fellowship in neurovascular surgery at the Mayo clinic, Rochester, MN, USA (2000-2002) and a one year fellowship in brain and spine tumor surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, USA (2002-2003). He has completed a PhD on epilepsy surgery in Liege University in 2007.
He is now head of Neurosurgery at Delta Hospital and at Clinique du Parc Léopold, CHIREC, Brussels, Belgium. Its expertise is particularly focused in the treatment of brain tumors and trigeminal neuralgia as well as in the management of spine degenerative disease using minimally invasive surgical techniques such as percutaneous microscopic and endoscopic approaches. In this regard, he works closely with leading spine companies as a consultant collaborating in clinical studies, device development and training education workshops.
